As an artist, Ryan is drawn to stories that are emotionally immediate, visually distinctive, and culturally relevant—often exploring identity, connection, mental health, and the complexities of human relationships. His work is grounded in clarity of storytelling and a strong visual language, with an emphasis on creating work that feels both intimate and impactful.
His projects have been developed and presented in both Los Angeles and New York, earning industry recognition and award-winning presentations. Known for his collaborative process, Ryan works closely with writers, designers, and performers to create work that feels both intimate and cinematic in scope.
His background spans commercial theatre and live production, including Wicked (Broadway and National Tour), Disney Theatrical Group, WWE television production, and CBS Radio. This cross-disciplinary experience informs a process that balances creative development with strong production execution.
Prior to his current work, Ryan spent over a decade mentoring young artists and producing theater across disciplines, shaping a generation of performers and creators—many of whom are now working on Broadway, across film and television, and as professional musicians and recording artists.
