People, Places, & Shows with Ron Cisneros

Documentary Series — In Development & Pre-Production

A character-driven documentary series centered on Ron Cisneros — a professional dancer who toured internationally with major theatrical productions and Disney before becoming a teacher, director, and mentor to generations of performers. At 80 years old, the series explores both his extraordinary career and the more personal, lesser-known aspects of his life, told through the people he’s impacted and a present-day journey revisiting key relationships and moments from his past.

20th Anniversary Production

A bold new reimagining of Bert V. Royal’s darkly comic cult play, Dog Sees God follows the beloved “Peanuts” characters as unruly teenagers — navigating grief, sexuality, addiction, bullying, and the painful process of growing up.

Under the direction of Ryan Warren and Second Wind Entertainment, the current iteration builds on their critically acclaimed 2024 Los Angeles staging, recipient of Stage Scene LA awards for Outstanding Production, Outstanding Direction (Ryan Warren), Breakout Lead Performances (Marcus Wells & Ellee Jo Trowbridge), and Outstanding Ensemble (Marcus Wells, Ellee Jo Trowbridge, Colin McCalla, Natalie Bourgeois, Mateo Gonzales, Addyson Bell, Isabella Coben, & Anthony Turpel). Ongoing development has attracted a dynamic range of emerging and established performers, including Jack Dylan Grazer, Milo Manheim, Liz Gillies, Dylan Mulvaney, Bebe Wood, Julia Lester, and Deandre Sevon.

“Ryan Warren has taken my crusty, dated, 20-year-old play Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead and breathed new life into a hysterical and soulful new Los Angeles production. The cast is EXTRAORDINARY.”

Playwrights Horizons – NYMF Winner: Best Musical, Best Book, Best Ensemble, Best Actor (Milo Manheim)

Music by Will Finan

Book & Lyrics by Julie Soto

A visceral and emotionally charged original musical that tackles teen suicide, mental health, and identity with unflinching honesty. Generation Me explores the unraveling of a high school community after the loss of one of their own — exposing the silent battles beneath the surface of adolescent life.

The production had its world premiere at Folsom’s Harris Center for the Performing Arts, followed by a Los Angeles transfer to the Hudson Theatre. It later had a New York engagement at Playwrights Horizons as part of the New York Musical Festival, where it was honored with Best Musical, Best Book, Best Ensemble, and Best Actor for Milo Manheim.

“Together, director Ryan Warren and actor Milo Manheim craft a performance that is as raw as it is refined — a powerful collaboration that anchors Generation Me with both emotional depth and electric energy.”
